Memory Project Results

Dear Art Teachers and Artists,

I’m so pleased to let you know that the portraits you created were delivered to the children in Colombia, and they absolutely loved them!  As you will see in the following video, the children were so excited to receive your artwork and very touched by your efforts.  They fully understood that creating the portraits was a way to show them how much you care about their well-being and their future.

Your students may be interested to know that they were joined in this effort by three thousand young artists.  Therefore, rather than focusing on any portraits individually, the purpose of this video is to share the collective joy and excitement of all the children together.  We hope you enjoy it!

Thank you for helping us build peace and international friendship through the arts.  We’re so grateful for all of the effort you put into making this project possible, and we are still happy to do any of the things listed at to help support you and your art program.

It is our true privilege to do this work with you, and we very much hope to have that privilege again.

Creating portraits for a kinder world.

Dear Art Teachers and Artists,

Last week I had the privilege of delivering the beautiful portraits you made for the children in Colombia.  It was my second time there, and I’d have to say this is my favorite children’s charity the world over.  The work they do to help these precious kids begin their lives with a solid foundation is simply amazing.

Usually our privacy policy prevents us from sharing the location of the children.  However, Olga Lucia, the director of the charity, told me that they would love for you to know more about them.  Their site is:

Right now they are in need of more people to sponsor the children in their feeding program.  If you are interested in sponsoring the very same child who received your artwork, just let me know and I will put you in touch!

Thank you so much for being part of this,
